Shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, officers from the Prince George’s Police Department were called to the 1800 block of Tanow Place in District Heights, where there was a reported shooting.
Upon arrival, officers were met by a teen girl and second man inside a home suffering from gunshot wounds.
Both were rushed to the hospital by paramedics, where the girl was later pronounced dead, according to police. May 11, and the man was treated for critical injuries.
His condition was not immediately available on Thursday, May 11.
No motive for the shooting has been provided by investigators.
